Why does Verizon not have telemarketer blocking?

My husband uses Verizon and I use another carrier. Our home phone and virtual numbers are supplied by yet another carrier. Both of the others allow me to go online to report telemarketer numbers for inclusion to a telemarketer block list. I came to this forum hoping to find where to block these unwanted calls, but all I found was complaints from other customers about the lack of a way to do so. This is a deal-breaker and his contract is expired so we will likely switch carriers.

I called Verizon about this as well. They certainly do have a way to block calls FOR A FEE of course!

Ripoff! The consumer again suffers with Verizon. BTW, the same thing happened to me with ATT so I think it is a matter of collusion.
