how to download contacts from backup assistant? Not working

hi, I just replaced my samsung u740 with another one. I was using backup assistant on my old phone to save all my contacts. When I go to the verizon backup assistant website, I can see all my contacts there. However, when I click on the sync button, it says "sync completed" but the contacts do not get loaded on my new phone. Does anyone know how to get my contacts onto my new phone? Thanks

Thank you for your inquiry Sportsgurl. Adding to what was stated, where you trying to sync the contacts via the website were you perhaps believed they were being sent to the phone? Did you activate the replacement U740? Your replacement phone would need to be activated and programmed to run the application. To activate your replacement phone, make sure the previous phone is off and log into My Verizon. Once there, look under device, then tab down to the selection that fits device change. Then run the Backup Assistant application on the replacement phone after its been activated. If the replacement phone had been activated, Have you been able to re-run the Backup Assistant to see if the contacts got loaded to the phone?
