service in las vegas keeps getting worse. i know they are leasing tower space but we pay the highest rate in the for cell service but it not better than any other and getting worse
If you're paying so much money and not getting the value that you wish to get, you should look for another option.
you amazing with your advice
It makes logical sense. Why pay money for a service that isn't up to par? I don't know about you but I don't have any EXTRA money so every penny I spend MUST return a good value. If the pennies you spend with Verizon don't return that same value for you then you should look for another place to spend your pennies.
toddb57,
We'd always want to know if something is going on with your services, but let's not give up yet. While indoor services are never guarenteed, where exactly are you that isn't getting a signal? While tower ownership is proprietery information, what is telling you that we don't have towers around Las Vegas?

The coverage is getting worse on a weekly basis. im not talking about inside either spots that drop keep change, there are some that are consistent. signal strength keep going up and down. I get more calls failed in las vegas, which is desert very little trees and not alot of weather issues (its rained one time in four months. I michigan at least it was reliable. since i spend equal time between both i need it to work especially when i am paying the highest costing service in the industry when compared to your competitors. as far as tower share that been know and talked about how the your space is getting leased out more and more for awhile
if Verizon is no fitting your needs then switch to the competition. I'm not sure what so hard about that to understand.
Our only goal is to provide you with the best possible service, toddb57. I understand that you are experiencing service issues in Las Vegas area and not only indoors. You indicate that signal fluctuates and some calls fail. Let’s take a closer look at this issue, when did the signal fluctuation start? Are not able to make calls (call fail), or are call dropping after you start a call? What is the ZIP code where you experience the most issues?

I agree that the service is getting worse. I live at 89131 with new housing developments being built all the time. You would think Verizon would support a larger customer base.

More people mean more people using mobile data which of course would mean slower speeds.
It is not the speed that I am talking about. It is the actual signal from
the what appears to be a non existent tower location close to here.

CENTAUR152007,
We want to provide you with the most reliable service, and hearing that you are experiencing service issues is certainly alarming. We have reviewed your zip code and do not have any reported alerts or outages in the area. While we aren't provided any timelines or details on when or where a tower is being established, our network teams are continually evaluating new cell site locations. For now, we can offer other solutions to get your service running a lot more smoothly. First let me ask you, is this happening indoors only or also outdoors? Also, what is the make and model of your device?

Yes the cell and data signal is very bad at my location both indoors and
out. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. Even when I try and send a
text message it will time out and ask me to resend.

I would be glad to talk to someone about this terrible signal strength at
this location.
CENTAUR152007, what signal strength are you you getting, and do you ever have any dropped calls? We want to determine the root cause of this issue. Do you know if you are the only one affected in the area?

I've had the same problem here in southern NH...I'm considering switching to another provider...
Now my 3G and 4G indicators with 0ne bar signal on the top of my phone
screen have been disappearing and appearing sporadically. What is going on
with Verizon network?
Could be tower upgrades. Could be bad phone. Could be bad SIM. Why assume something is wrong on Verizon's end and not yours?
CENTAUR152007, having good quality signal is your priority as well as ours, especially since you need the service to accomplish your daily activities. It is definitely strange to see the screen disappear and appear sporadically, we would be just as surprised as you to encounter such problem. We want to help. Please tell us more, when do these issues happen? How often do these occur? Any damage on the device (cracked, broken, liquid damage, etc.)? What happens when you try to use the service and the bar count is low?

Having the same issue in the poconos in PA. After a major cell/data outage earlier this year, I dont get an 4G/3G LTE at all. Constant dropping of calls, audio during calls that you have to hang up and call the other person back or they have to call you back, issues with data and loading simple web pages. Our phones have even gone into wifi calling modes without wifi calling even being set up and on in the phones settings menu. I reported to Verizon months ago and all they told me to do was activate wifi calling...what the hell am I paying Verizon over $200 a mo th between phone payments and line charges for, if Verizo. Wants me to use WiFi. Then they should be paying me to cover my internet for wifi. Fix the issue and start giving us what we're paying for!!!
i noticed its getting worse in Los Angeles and last month i switched up to the 75gb plan and its more expensive and my service only got even worse!!
i have a prepaid tmobile phone to use while im home in Los Angeles and it works so good, everywhere. but once i leave LA it 's terrible , so i have to have verizon for when I'm out of state. this is terrible.... i spend $200 a month just to be able to have a phone that works all the time

DOOFERDOO, I appreciate the fact that you have the Above Unlimited Plan and do want to help you get the service you deserve and pay for in the Los Angeles area. I regret to hear you have to pay for a separate phone plan just to get service. What parts of your service are impacted exactly? (calls, text or data) What zip code locations do you have issues in? What is the make and model phone you're using?
