Does the .99 cent plan for daily use get used when you call on nights and weekends?
Yes, it does. The $0.99 is for unlimited calling to and from Verizon customers and a discounted rate for calling and receiving calls from other carriers. If you know that you would talk to other carriers. You would come out cheaper just getting the $1.99 unlimited plan.
With the $0.99 plan, it is $0.99 for every 24 hours and then it is $.10 per minute used to call another carrier. Way too expensive. Go witht he $1.99 plan or the $50 per month unlimited everything plan

The 99 cent plan is not unlimited 24 hours a day, its only up to 9:59 pm after that its considered nighttime minutes and its 10 cents per minutes after that and also on weekends.Daily Plans
