Does my current plan include calls and texts between US Mainland and USVI?

I have the New Verizon Large (8GB) plan and will be traveling to St. Thomas and St. John in the US Virgin Islands. There seems to be conflicting information on whether or not calls and texts are included in my plan or require an International Plan. Can anyone clarify the situation?

Why does that PDF list the "Voice - Pay as you go" pricing at $1.79 a minute then?
