WHY DO I HAVE TO WAIT 6 MONTHS BEFORE I CAN GET MY OLD CELL PHONE NUMBER BACK THAT I HAVE HAD FOR YEARS.
JUST BECAUSE I GOT THIS PREPAID ACCOUNT AND PREPAID PHONE I CANNOT TRANSFER MY OLD PHONE NUMBER TO A NEW SMART PHONE.
THIS IS SOMETHING THAT VERIZON SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET STRAIGHTENED OUT FOR A CUSTOMER THAT HAS BEEN WITH THEM FOR YEARS.
I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN VERIZON FOR DOING THIS TO ME. WITH ALL THE MONIES THAT I HAVE PAID THEM OVER ALL THESE YEARS
AN THEY CANNOT GET MY OD NUMBER BACK FOR ME. SHAME ON YOU VERIZON.

Its been that way since day one. I think its to stop people from going back an forth from prepaid and contract phones. Verizon has a block of numbers for prepaid and a block for contracts.this assures numbers for everyone.
