I currently have a prepaid verizon phone.  Someone in my family has a family plan.

1. Is it possible to switch the number to an added line on an already existing family plan?

2. Does it matter that the area code for this prepaid number is from a different part of the state than the numbers already on the family plan?

3. Do I have to have had the prepaid account open for a certain amount of time before doing this?  The phone that I am currently using is a different phone than the one that I originally got when I opened the account.

4. If this can be done, what will happen to the balance on the prepaid account?
