can I use my old LG EnV as my phone on a pre-paid plan

Not really interested in buying a new phone for my son...so==Can I just give him my older LG EnV and use it for the pre-paid account?

Hi ruffbnme! Unfortunately, the LG EnV Touch can not be used on a pre-paid plan. However, I have included a link that shows the prepaid phones we offer starting at $19.99. Once you click on the link, under "Feature Phones" click on "shop now" and you will have to choose a plan first then the next page will take you to the list of phones.

She was asking if the ORIGINAL EnV could be used on pre pay.  I would like to know as well.  Where can I find someone to answer this question for me?  I have a flip phone that is prepay and would like to have a better phone for texting and can not afford to buy one of your new and expensive phones.  Can anyone answer this?

Actually the last post is somewhat incorrect. I have stayed with the env family all the time. I had the LG V (before env 1) and then i had the orange env1 and i just stopped using my env2 on prepaid so yes it does work. You can use the env or the env2. not the 3 or the touch though
