iPhone 4

I have the opportunity to buy my brother's iPhone 4 (Verizon) from him.

I want to put it on the "Monthly Smartphone pre-paid" option.

What is the process that I need to do? Just bring it into a store, just call 611 with my credit card to start the process, or what?

Just call customer service from a different phone and they can sign you up and activate your phone, you pay need to leave a deposit. Have your credit card handy and the serial number which is on the back of the battery in the cell phone. Call 800-922-0204

The battery isn't removable on the iPhone. I am sure that the information is available somewhere in the phone. You might have to view a menu in the phone settings.

Honestly I don't know if Apple or Verizon is allowing iPhones on the pre-paid plan.

The information is under the settings icon ( settings/general/about ). Call 888-294-6804 options 4/5/4 to talk to a person. Thay should be able to help you. I do not know if thay will allow an Iphone on prepay, do to some agrement thay have with Apple.
