is it possible to get a prepaid plan if i have a verizon phone that was given to me as a gift ? the phone is asking for an activation number which i dont have what can i do

Usually the activation code is the last for digits of the phone number, are you keeping the same number as the person who gave you the phone? If that person remembers the number he can tell it you and you can call customer Service at 1888-294-6804 if not call customer service and I'm sure they can help you.
