Revert to older phone

I have a Google Pixel 8a. I hate it!

Can I switch back to my previous phone, a Motorola?

Assuming the Motorola phone is still compatible with Verizon, then yes, you can switch out the devices.

I'm sorry to learn that you're not happy with your Pixel 8a, WriterMick. As SynthpopAddict mentioned, as long as its a compatible device, we can help you activate your older phone. So that we can help with that, I have sent you a private message since we will need access to assist.

Addendum to my earlier post: @WriterMick  if your Pixel 8a was obtained under a contract such as "free phone", then you'll have to deal with the Pixel for the duration of the contract, unless you're willing to break the contract and pay off the phone immediately plus any other early termination penalties.  But if you simply bought the phone and it's not tied to any deal, then you can swap out the Pixel with something else, so long as the other phone is compatible.  If it's been less than 30 days since you've had the Pixel, you can return it, but there's a $50 restocking fee.

We did reach out over Private Message to help with your phone situation. If we’re going to make changes to which device you have active, we’ll need to get into the account, and we verify your account via Private Message. Please contact us if you still need support.
