CANNOT LOGIN TO MY VERIZON ONLINE ACCOUNT

I recently bought the google pixel 9 pro XL.  However I have not been able to complete the setup process.  Apparently I need access to my Verizon account in order to complete the setup process.  However, When I got the phone and tried to set it up I was suddently unable to login to my Verizon Wireless account.  I have been getting the SORRY WE WERE UNABLE TO VERIFY THAT THIS ACCOUNT BELONGS TO YOU error message.  What should I do?.
