Order cancelled

After hours on the phone with customer service and various departments I was finally able to complete an upgrade order. I waited for the email notifying me that I could pick up the new phone at a local store. After waiting 24 hours I called to make sure that the order was being processed I was told to wait 1 to 2 more days  today I found out the phone order had been canceled no one can tell me who canceled it or why. After additional hours on the phone the solution was to reorder unfortunately all of the changes to my account associated with the bring your own device are still in effect. My bill is all messed up now not sure what I need to do.

Are you currently under a contract with the older phone?  I'm speculating, but maybe the reason why the upgrade order was cancelled was to prevent you from accidentally breaking your contract.

No contract phone was original from 5 plus years ago.

Thanks for the info.  Is your service plan one which isn't currently available to incoming customers?  If you're using one of the "5G [something]" plans which were the previous generation of service plans or something even older, those aren't eligible for any promotions.  The bot which is sending out ads isn't very specific...

BTW if your bill now shows charges for a new service plan (a lot of promotions have a requirement that you use either Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Ultimate) and you want to go back to your older plan and cancel any new phone orders which are floating around, I think someone may be able to revert you back to the older plan if you ask soon enough (within a few days?).

No i have 4 phones on current plans. I added a phone with the bring your own device plan to get the upgrade.

I was able to get it resolved by going to a Verizon store. In a matter of minutes they had it all taken care of. Verizon phone support has some serious issues. I personally will never call again or suggest calling to anyone. What a colossal waste of time.
