Pre-ordered Pixel 9 pro xl

Pre-ordered the Google pixel pro xl in pink on September 14th with the new google watch.. received the watch 2 days later and still haven't gotten an update on the phone. The phone is still being advertised for sale as we speak and not saying anything about being in back order.

I contacted customer service a week ago and they told me I had to cancel the order and place a new order. Yet the order won't cancel. 4 different customer service reps on 4 different occasions have claimed to have canceled the order but haven't so I can't place a new order. I just want the phone! My current phone in the "trade in" status and when I try to cancel that a warning pops up that I will be charged over $700!! My trade-in expires in December and it doesn't look like I will have the new phone by then. 

Has anyone else had this issue? I've been a Verizon customer for over 20 years... This is absolutely insane!
