Verizon claiming I returned "empty box"

I posted recently but can't find my last post so posting again. I returned a pixel watch in October (within the return window) and have proof of everything, including the weight of the package at drop off and tracking number, but Verizon claims it received an "empty box". I've reached out to customer service over 25 times and had probably a dozen tickets created and 20 promises to receiving credit back on my account, and today, Jan 2 my service was shut off due to nonpayment. I have paid everything except for the watch which I returned. Verizon claims to have photos of the empty box but refuses to provide them to me. Every customer service rep tells me they have heard this story numerous times, and a quick google search shows me the same thing. Verizon refuses accountability, will not credit me, even though I have been a loyal Verizon customer for years, with multiple unlimited plans and devices on my account. Hundreds of dollars are paid to Verizon each month yet the very rude manager I spoke to claims I'm out of luck and they will do nothing to help me. I have filed a complaint with the FCC and BBB and am hoping for a resolution through them. I am utterly shocked and disappointed that Verizon will not take accountability for an issue they clearly have very often. I am not asking for anything other than a credit for the item I returned within the appropriate window and for my service to be reinstated.
