Account locked after verification

I am trying to log into my Verizon account via the internet on my laptop. 

After I enter my username and password, it sends a verification text to my phone.  I click on "allow," and on my phone, it indicates it was successful. 

But on my laptop, it then locked me out and said that I needed to reset my password.

Help?

Hello, Jsauvie. Help is here. So sorry to hear of this experience, but rest assured, we can provide assistance. Just to confirm, are you able to access the online My Verizon account via the app? Are you able to rest the password? Are you the account owner of the account or an account manager?
