Can I add a family member to my account for a small charge as opposed to that member having their own account?
Yes, and then you should be getting a multi-line discount for having 2 lines instead of just one. Depending on whether you are prepaid or postpaid, the process may be a little different. Note that you cannot mix and match prepaid and postpaid lines however. All the lines in an account have to be one or the other because the billing and even logins to My Verizon are in different URLs. I'd have to think you will have to set up "Account Owner" access and "Account Manager" access, if you want the family member to be able to view/manage the group account.
