It has been more than two months since I switched from T-Mobile to Verizon. I was promised and confirmed through a live agent that I qualify for a $200 BYOD promotion prior switching . I ported four lines of iPhone 13 .I haven't received credit as promised even after several phone calls and promises through live representative .So far I had five phone calls .During my first follow-up agent informed that they need escalate the case. Also agent informed that that they called rebate center and confirmed that my submission details are good and wait for a week to hear from Verizon. I called second time since I didn't receive any response . The agent told me that they are going to escalate again, no response second time as well. Called again, same course of action repeated. This time I asked representative confirmation number if I need to follow-up next time which he provided. Also agent informed that Verizon agent will do do a manual override next time if case not resolved. Called again since I didn't get response. I was on phone for almost two hours and agent goes on mute often. My question is why Verizon like to waste time of the customer and agent if they cannot fulfill what they promised. What a shame!!!!

I don't know about a BYOD promotion, but there is a switcher rebate that has proved challenging for many to get. The OP in this thread finally got theirs and posted some good tips. If it is the switching to Verizon rebate you're referring to, see this thread:
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

Commitment and promise made customer. Verizon didn’t honor what they promised and confirmed prior switching from another carrier. Case not resolved. Be careful if anyone planning to switch to Verizon based on rebates they offer.

I was promised $200 rebate for each line and was denied due to wrong promo code given by Verizon.

@WinstonDy wrote: I followed up with multiple managers and they all denied my claim saying my code is ineligible because I don’t have Plus or Ultimate. They asked me to upgrade my account to Plus. That’s ridiculous! Even if I upgrade to Plus, the promo code is still wrong because it’s for Best Buy purchases.
WinstonDy, I'm glad you came over to us, but I'm sorry that it's been a rough start to the experince. It never hurts to take a look at the situation with fresh eyes, to see what options we have. I'd be willing to do that with you. I've sent a Private Message so we can do that together.

I was getting ready to place my order for 5 lines online on the Verizon website but wanted more reassurances that I was qualified for the promotions for switching carriers. I was formerly with T-Mobile. I called Verizon sales and asked a few questions about the promotions for free iPhone 15 Pro Max and also about switching from another carrier. After the sales agent gave me assurances that I was indeed qualified, he insisted that he place my order for me (probably for his commission). He said he waived my activation fees and applied the $200 rebates for each line for switching. Fast-forward one month later, I was charged activation for all my lines and there was no rebate in process. I was told I needed to apply for the rebate online and the associate gave me like 3 different promo codes to try. The promo code that worked was, BBYSWITCH24. After submitting the rebate claim I went back and read the details. The details mention the customer must have purchased from Best Buy store and the plan signed up for must be Plus or Ultimate. Neither of these stipulations applied to me. I signed up for Welcome plan and I purchased from Verizon sales. Why the heck did the Verizon associate give me this promo code? It was not applicable to me. I contacted Verizon again but the next associate said it was fine and nothing to worry about. Weeks go by, and I keep checking with Verizon. All the Verizon associates I talked to said it was going to be approved. Finally, five weeks later it is denied because I did not buy from Best Buy and my plan was not Plus or Ultimate. I told Verizon that! They said it was going to be approved regardless. WRONG! I followed up with multiple managers and they all denied my claim saying my code is ineligible because I don’t have Plus or Ultimate. They asked me to upgrade my account to Plus. That’s ridiculous! Even if I upgrade to Plus, the promo code is still wrong because it’s for Best Buy purchases. So I would still be denied even if I changed to Plus. These guys are either very deceitful sales people, or very very incompetent. I am owed $1,000 in rebates for 5 lines I switched over. Not to mention the activation fees which were charged.
