Can't get a transfer pin from Verizon customer service after many hours

My "Support Request Activity" now shows 137 messages - after many hours on line and I still can't get my 85-year old mom's phone number transferred to her senior services carrier!
I am so disappointed with Verizon! They have treated my mom with complete disregard for her age and abilities - and she has been a customer for years also!
Any suggestions anyone? Thanks in advance for any help!
