in August I signed up for Verizon. The promo was a free phone and a $250 Costco gift card for each product by Verizon. I signed up for a new phone and home Internet. I have not heard anything from Costco regarding the gift card or Verizon I was told they would contact me with a link. I was told it was going to be a free phone with a 36 month obligation and it appears I am paying for my phone. I have contacted Verizon and I have had a horrible experience. Nobody knows what theyโre are doing, Verizon is grifting people with the promise of a free phone, Iโve been contacting Verizon 2x per month for at least 1-2 hours per call without resolution. My bill fluctuates monthly, the latest bill 102.00 for 1 line, they refuse to credit for the โfreeโ phone promo from Costco, I have dealing with this issue since September. Has anyone else had this problem? I am beyond frustrated!

I'm having a similar issue as apparently many others. Purchased new line iPhone15 Pro at Verizon Costco kiosk on 9/30/2023 with the promo of a $250 Shop Costco card and $830 off after trade in. Finally got trade in credits applied on 4th billing cycle after activation after multiple calls to Verizon (was initially told there was no record of the trade in phone that I dropped off at a Verizon corporate store, then on a later call Verizon found the record of me dropping off the phone). Still have not heard anything about the $250 Shop Costco card.

We also have similar issues. We added my son and my dad as new line, upgraded both mine and my wife's phones in Sep 2023. We were supposed to get 2 - 250.00 and 2 - 100 dollars gift cards after 90 days. I have called so many times and talking to many verizon customer service folks, they said they have opened tickets, but nothing has happened. Its just not worth my time wasted for this. Very very disappointed, I am Verizon customer for may be 10 years and I just want to quit after this.

I have a similar problem. I am fighting for my gift card right now. The Verizon rep, Andy, gave me his personal cell numbers . He guaranteed the process will be smoothly. I left him several texts and voice mails. He has not reply to me. I am very upset. After 30 days, you are hook. All promises are broken. If Verizon not keeping their promise to the consume, why we are liable to keep our promise staying with them for 36 months?

The Costco rebate is run by Costco according to the thread in the Announcements forum. Anyway, based upon what was posted in the other thread, Costco waits until after 90 days have passed to even begin to start working on the rebate, and then it can take up to another 14 weeks for you to receive it. Check the Costco rebate thread in the Announcements forum for the email address the rebate originates from, as some have had it go into their junk/spam email folder.

Thank you. I am able to talk to Verizon web team which is better than the regular service team. They have opened a ticket and are in the process of verification. Hopefully I will have some positive news sooner than later.
