We’ve been with Verizon for 30+ years. I recently had a situation that happened when we were told we could get new phones at no cost, we had to trade old phones in. No problem!!!???? RIGHT!! I tried talking to several people. Spending 5 hours on the phone in one day!! Frustrating???!!!! I emailed executive services, a representative called and was going to investigate the issue. I gave her dates, times, and names of some of the customer service representatives I had spoken with. A month later, I was informed that supposedly they hadn’t received 1 of the phones I returned but not the other, (they returned together in the same box)??? More arguing!! Then I asked to play recorded conversations so we could hear exactly what I was told. I was informed that that wasn’t possible!! Why?? I then asked the representative if they had listened to an earlier conversation with the Verizon representative at which time I was told the phones would be free and about a 40% discount? The representative then told me that that particular conversation is no longer available as they don’t keep recordings past 30 days!!!??? Why wasn’t this recording listened to at the beginning when I told her about it?? Now I’m getting billed an extreme amount of money. Spoke to another carrier (T-Mobile) today and found out that they can give me the same plan and for less money!
if Verizon wants to keep my business, it’s up to them to fix this! Otherwise, come December, we will be moving everything to T-Mobile.
