Eligible e911 devices

After a move, I wanted to make sure all my devices had updated and correct addresses. I confirmed the (single) billing address, updated 2 out of 8 service addresses (my son lives out of state most of the time), and then realized I probably needed to update the e911 addresses as well. Reading the help article [1], I was able to find the correct areaโฆ but only 5 of my 8 devices show up to be updated. The help article mentions only โhost MDNโ numbers may be available (with no explanation about what that is). I would have thought that meant that my phones would show, but possibly not my watches since theyโre all number share. However, all my watches show and 1 phoneโฆ
Why canโt I update the e911 number for the other 3 phones on my planโฆ and why are watches available despite them not being a โhostโ (unless Iโm misunderstanding that term)? Is there a better explanation for what devices are eligible for this setting?

This isnโt an issue with validation. I have no option to set an e911 address on 3 of my phones and 1 of my watches. 1 phone and 3 watches have an e911 set up.

No worries. Are the 3 watches that have an E911 address set up, linked to the 3 phones that aren't able to set up an address?

I have the same problem. Only two of the five iPhones on my plan appear in list of phones for updating E911 addresses.
