Has anyone successfully requested a new eSIM QR code from Verizon while abroad?

Quick question for anyone with experience on this

If I activate my Verizon plan in the US (with eSIM on an iPhone), and then travel abroad shortly after, would I be able to request a new QR code from Verizon and activate it on a different iPhone while outside the US?

I’d be sticking with iPhones, and I’d already have the line active

Just wondering if Verizon allows remote eSIM reactivation while you’re not physically in the States

I’d really appreciate any insight

I’m trying to avoid any issues where I end up unable to use my line just because I switched devices abroad

Trying to activate a new Verizon iPhone while you're outside the U.S. can be tricky. You really need to be on the Verizon network within the States for that initial activation, especially for eSIMs. So, activating a new device or eSIM isn't possible when you're out of the country. Now, if you already have an active Verizon eSIM on your iPhone, you can turn it off and on internationally, but just a heads-up, that might mess with your iMessage and FaceTime registrations.
