Switched to Verizon (First time)in September 2024, getting a new number and Fios. Immediately, I saw 3 iPhone purchases on my account activty that weren't mine of course in January and February of 2024. I've never owned and Iphone and I've never had a Verizon account. I never ported either this number was given to me by verizon and it was used to open the account want to make that clear. It turns out my "new" number was still linked to the previous owner's account, exposing his personal information (address, payment details, etc.) on my account page.
Despite 30+ calls to Verizon, they haven't fixed it. I'm experiencing connectivity issues, dropped calls, and missing texts, impacting my business. FIOS interenet to is always a mess. Verizon confirmed the issue but refuses to take action. They confirmed it the first day of my account .This is a serious privacy violation! They have the screen shots and order numbers i sent in and have always confirmed they see it when I call.
I want a new number and account and a complete removal of the other person's data. And truthfully to be compensated for this discounts promotion idc just something. Speaking of promotion bought a flip 6 for the 75" samsung and poof that vanished and Verizon doesn't understand why and is unsure if I can get it now its been 30 days. amount of stress from this is just insane and time ive lost.Can someone at Verizon finally do the right thing? It's been 4 months and my patience is truly gone. Its worrying if I leave to cause does that mean now someone gets all my info. Cause the guy my account merged with lives 2 towns over it's a scary thought.
