Increase in spam after switching to Verizon

I switched to Verizon (from ATT) three weeks ago and now I am receiving an increase in spam.
This is 100% real.  I literally told someone yesterday about it.
Then today a friend called me and said they missed 6 calls from me, and they wanted to know if there was an emergency.
I thought maybe I b*tt dialed so I checked my phone and had no outgoing calls.
So now this means my number is being spoofed.
It is not a coincidence.
What can I do?
I found an old 2020 thread on this same topic in this community but there was no real solution offered. I'm hoping 4 years later there is something I can do besides...nothing. Or learn to live with it.
I hate it so much I am beginning to already wonder if I made a bad choice switching carriers.

I just switched from T-Mobile and  am having the same problem. I get about 5-10 calls a day from potential sc*m (it won't let me write that word) to telemarketer. I block them after every call and they still continue day in and day out.

Hopefully someone can offer some input on this because it's frustrating and annoying.

Hello, JM_479. Help is here as I know, firsthand, how it is to get unwanted calls. Please keep in mind, spam calls typically start when your info is given when you download a game or have your rewards program for your local grocery store or even when you accept cookies for some sites. To block these calls, we offer Call Filter. Please see the link below for more info.

Just went to Verizon Palm Bay,  Fl.  Day after and everyday since I’m getting 7-15 spam calls a day.
