Melted fiber optics box

Who needs to be contacted regarding replacement of the Verizon box buried in the ground that melted from a lawnmower fire? According to my town admin, the DPW and the PD it has been reported twice. It’s been 10 months since it happened. Verizon repaired my melted fiber optic line and left the box open needing replacement.
