Dear Verizon Executive Relations,
I am filing a formal complaint regarding a misrepresented promotional offer that led me to switch from Spectrum to Verizon.
At the time of switching, your sales representative explicitly promised:
- A $30 monthly credit for 36 months (total $1,080) for bringing my own phone.
- An $800 gift card as part of the promotion.
Based on this assurance, I paid $900 upfront and moved my services. However, after switching, I was informed that:
- I am only eligible for a $10 credit for 36 months, not $30.
- The $800 gift card does not exist and was falsely promised.
This is a clear case of bait-and-switch and a violation of fair business practices, as I made my decision to leave Spectrum solely based on the terms communicated by your representative.
I request immediate action from Verizon Executive Relations to:
- Honor the promotion as promised ($30 credit × 36 months + $800 gift card), OR
- Provide an equitable resolution that compensates for the misleading representation.
