Port a number over existing verizon line with DPP

Hi, can I port a number onto an existing Verizon line with DPP without losing the promotional credit I receive? Thanks

Hello, VR7. Great question! Unfortunately, no, you cannot. You can absolutely port a line over but it will need to be its own line of service with a different phone number.

You can replace an existing number with one you’ve ported in. One thing to consider, however, is porting in a number and replacing it will affect any active promotions tied to the original number on the line.
