My phone was recently upgraded and was activated using an eSIM (which was another whole process in and of itself, but I digress).
Since upgrading, I have been unable to enable Push Notifications from Communication Preferences in My Verizon on the web. I have the My Verizon app installed on my phone, it is signed in, and has all permissions.
I've had multiple chat sessions with My Verizon reps, both via phone and via text, and none have been able to assist.
I get to Communication Preferences by:
- Logging into My Verizon on the web
- Click on Account
- Select Account Settings/Account settings overview
- Select Manage Communication Preferences
- Under Mobile device management, my phone shows "Get Mobile App". I have the mobile app
- Click "Manage" next to notification settings
- Email: available and selected
- SMS: available and selected
- Push: greyed out with message: "To select,Get mobile app" (again, the mobile app is installed and logged in).
Anyone else have this issue after upgrading and activating an eSIM? If so, was the issue ever resolved?
