For whatever reason Verizon cannot figure out how to remove my email address from my former boss's account. I continue to get his account emails and I would really like them to stop. Before I retired, I tried. The boss has tried. Verizon can't seem to get it done. Anybody else have this issue? Anybody else get this resolved? HELP!

Hi Nanne56, I'm sorry to hear that there have been so many issues getting your email removed. Is this attached to a business acocunt or a personal account?

Business wireless account. As bookkeeper, I had been paying this account.

I just received another email stating his business account is past due. Surely there is a way for Verizon to disassociate my email address from his account. As stated above, before I retired we changed his account contact info. Didn't work. His local Verizon store did what they could, but couldn't find my email address in his account info. Surely there's some IT guy out there who could figure this thing out.

We certainly want to help in anyway we can. We understand receiving notification for the business account is not wanted. We do have a way to prevent contact regarding marketing and sales contacts to your email, however, anything regarding the billing to an account is not something we can address without accessing the account. If you are not currently associated with the account, we would recommend that he reach out to us. If you should not be receiving any emails from Verizon, you can block the email address that it is sending from to prevent them coming through. We understand it is frustrating and we want to offer as much insight as possible.
