Retiree discount removed

I retired from Verizon 8 years ago.  I had the EPP before retiring, which transitioned to the Verizon retiree discount for the past 8 years. I swapped to a new phone in June and the discount was removed. I contacted customer service and the Benefits Center, and tried every method provided to try to add the discount back. No one seems able to help me.

Does anyone know of  a point of contact who can help me get the discount added back?

Gotcha, thanks for that info. Aside from HR, the team with the Benefits Center has the ability to assist with the Retiree Program in order to help get your discount added to your account.

Customer Service suggested I reach out to my prior HR to have the discount added back. I appreciate the suggestion, but I do not have a HR contact and, after 8 years of retirement, I am confident no one in HR would know me.  The discount clearly shows on my bill for the past 15 years and no one can explain why it was removed, or by whom.

Is there a team within Verizon to handle issues such as this? I'm only 70 and cannot imagine a 90 yo retiree navigating this.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Thank you, Lauren. I called the Benefits Connection team again and they said someone should get back to me within about 5 days. I'll post again if it doesn't work.

Hi, you'd probably know more than I do about this, but you can't contact Verizon's HR in general to ask about it?  Maybe whomever you were speaking with in the benefits department was new and you need to keep trying.
