Technical problem

I’ve been a loyal Verizon customer for 7 years, but the service has become really disappointing. It’s expensive, yet I constantly deal with technical issues. I can’t text, I can’t call, and I’ve had to contact customer service multiple times. Even after troubleshooting, the same problems keep happening again and again.

Hi, there was an outage a few days ago which affected a lot of people, but it's been fixed.  If you are still having problems, there are a lot of potential causes including, but not limited to:

  • hardware issue on your device
  • putting an old SIM card into a new device (this isn't supported any longer and may even "break" the new device)
  • account needing to be reprovisioned so your devices know to use all the current, available spectrum
  • being in a dead zone (this is another discussion in itself)
