I am the owner's representative for an apartment community in Tampa, FL. We developed this property over 20 years ago and are potentially going to sell it. The title search came back showing a permanent non-exclusive utility easement on the property which dates prior to our construction. The easement was in a previous "right of way", which was abandoned in 2003 but the utility easement remains. The problem is that this easement goes through one of our buildings, which was built 20 years ago. I do not believe there is any equipment in this easement and it dates to when there was a previous road there.
I need to discuss with your legal team how to have this easement abandoned or at least moved so it does not go through a building.
Please let me know who I need to speak with. I can send a survey and the recorded easement.
Thank you,
Stephen

floridacapital, we recommend reaching out to Frontier as we currently do not have Fios services in Florida. We hope this information helps. ๐

I thought Frontier was bought back by Verizon. Has this transaction not been completed yet?
