I am getting text messages from VZW (899000) almost daily that contain an authorization code. I am not requesting it. I called about the issue and customer service brushed me off and said don't worry about it my account is fine. OK sure it's fine but #1 it's annoying to keep getting these texts and #2 it's clearly not fine if I keep getting these texts almost daily sometimes 2 times a day. Anyone else experiencing this? Below is the text
Verizon Msg: Important - don't share this code with anyone. Your authorization code is xxxxxx. Verizon will never contact you for this code. For questions or if you shared this code, contact us at 800-922-0204

Benzboy, we' certainly understand your concerns regarding the authorization text messages you've been receiving. Please tell us, when did this start? Is there another user on the account that may be trying to sign in or request access? Have you changed your My Verizon password recently? https://www.verizon.com/support/knowledge-base-17384/

I believe that we are experiencing someone attempting to hack the network and I guess when they succeed and steal all our information then it will be a priority. This sounds suspiciously familiar and I think Verizon should be taking their cybersecurity more seriously.

I get them daily as well. It is extremely unsettling when Verizon dismisses any concern you have over it, especially when cyber theft is running rampant.
