Verizon upgrade program wow

It seems I’m not the only one. So I have 6 lines on my plan yup 6 and I pay almost $500 a month for service. Was told over 2 years ago when I signed up I’d be able to upgrade anytime with device payment agreement if the phone was paid off. I have tried over the last 3 weeks to upgrade my paid off phone. Wasn’t able to online, says I can upgrade and get $1000 trade in credit towards new iPhone 16. Was told to pay the remainder balance on my phone to upgrade with device payment option. So I paid $275 to pay off the current phone and tried again to upgrade online not able to. Speak to chat representative and also representative on the phone and was told can only do upgrade in store to get instant credit towards new phone. So I drive to the store wait in line for an hour to be told I can’t upgrade with device payment agreement unless I pay full retail for new phone because I am over finance limit was told it was almost double over. So how is that possible? Because I have 6 lines? Why was I able to go over limit. And why was I told multiple times I could upgrade with device payment agreement when I can’t. Why couldn’t the store employee who checked my reason for being there wait in line and when I asked about the whole situation was told to wait and a representative would assist me with that when it was my turn. Waited an hour and told have to pay retail. Verizon does not value customers. So over it and ready to switch to a better carrier. Horrible service anyways. Worst communication ever.
