trying to activate replacement SIM card

I recently had to get a new SIM card for my iPhone, my original one was damaged. But now I still can't activate my SIM card because I forgot my Verizon account PIN number. I've spoken to Verizon employees and went to the store and they were pretty much powerless to help me. Is there any way I can get the verification sent to my email, instead of to my phone? When I try to sign into my Verizon account it tries to send me a text message, which I can't receive. I need to sign into my account in order to change my Verizon PIN number. Oh and when I went to a store with a photo ID , they still weren't able to help me. Plz someone help, I really need my phone working properly

Hello, helpplz1. Thanks so much for this info as help is here. So sorry to hear of the damage. Proper authentication is needed for us to access the account. It's definitely weird that the store didn't assist. Did you visit a direct Verizon store location with a valid ID?

yes I did, Monday. Monday I first went to get a new SIM card from a retailer. then from there I went to a company store to try and get help signing into my account. While I was in the store, I provide my ID and he scanned it. and then he said the verification messages weren't going through. Then had me use the phone in store to call customer service.

Any ideas on how to figure this out?

I certainly understand the urgency in getting your SIM card activated, helpplz1. Without access to My Verizon, the only alternative verification method would be to visit a corporate owned Verizon store with a photo ID. Here is our store locator: https://www.verizon.com/stores/
