Calls drops, then get Server Error

My phone will hang up in the middle of a call. Will give my a message saying "Sever error" The person will attemp to call back, as soon as i answer the phone, it will immidiantely drop the call, keeps saying Server error, and the phone will ring again right aterards. This will continue to happen untill i reset the phone. Tonight after i restarted the phone, it did the same thing. It's not on airplane mode. this has been happening more frequently lately. What can i do to fix this other than getting a newer phone?

Have you tried to update the phone's software? Don't know what the process is for an LG phone but using a search engine would probably give you some suggestions. LG doesn't make phones anymore as far as I know and my dad had one which only lasted 1.5 years before it died completely, so it's possible the hardware on your phone is going out.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

Everything is updated to the latest firmware for this phone. I can use Mega to make calls through the phone and that's fine.

We want to make sure you can continue using your phone without any calling problems. Apart from problems with calls, is there anything else not working with your phone? How are your other services performing? What troubleshooting have you tried?

All other services are working fine. No problems other than it dropping calls and saying Server error try again later, hanging up and ringing again right after. It will keep doing that till I have to restart the phone.
As far as trouble shooting, put it in airplane mode then turning that off. Checking network settings. Everything seems to be in order. No settings have changed that I can tell.

reset phone and ne sim card just today again two calls drop for the last 6 months this has to stop or change carrier

orangeman55, We want to make sure that you are able to use your device without issues. Is there anything else not working with your phone aside from the dropped calls issue? How are your other services performing? When you share that the device was reset, was this a network reset or a factory reset? Does this happen everywhere or only in certain locations?
