Can't receive verification code on my tablet

I want to change the password on the wireless account for my tablet. After I submit the new password, the system wants to send a verification code to the phone number of the tablet, but it does not receive calls. The system only lists the tablet number and does not provide other options for verification. Is there another way to do this?
