My extender is stuck in hybrid mode. The service is so bad locally and im in Palm springs. I have 6-7 lines connecting to my extender and iwant to exclude them.
When i was given this device one of my lines was on a older sim that wasnt supported.
I have upgrade that line ( probably a big mistake) and want to lock it down. So i dont have half of the city using my internet.
I tried Customer service and they keep asking me if i have Samsung( its verizon branded) and keep telling me to factor reset.
The access list seem stuck.
When i try to make a new list it tells me i have to use one of the #'s on my account. Literally i am ! but it doesnt recognize it
I also get this error when i try to move from hybrid to open system
"We’re experiencing a system issue and we’re unable to process your request. Please call us at 1.800.VERIZON for assistance."
so my extender as far as i can see is stuck in hybrid mode for weeks. Please help
I am about to dump out and change carriers after 22 years. I know crazy. They gave me this extender a year ago and things seems to have worsended
A agent after 1 hour of back and forth and disconnecting chat ( horrible customer support) suggested i go in the admin page of the extender and dropping the transmit power. That is incredible to me.......
Im wondering is this on purpose? this is verizons way of fixing there signal? using extenders in private peoples houses? tell me if im wrong.

Happy Wednesday! We know the importance of managing your Network Extenders access limits. Our goal is to guide you in the right direction.
You can create a Closed Subscriber Group that limits which Verizon mobile device numbers can use your LTE Network Extender's signal.
Closed Subscriber Groups have 3 modes:
- Open - Lets any Verizon customer within LTE Network Extender capacity and range connect to the Network Extender.
- Closed - Restricts access to the numbers listed in the Closed Subscriber Group (within LTE Network Extender capacity and range). Up to 50 Verizon mobile numbers can be included in the group list.
- Hybrid - Access is open to any Verizon users within LTE Network Extender capacity and range, but numbers listed in the Closed Subscriber Group have priority access.
You can set up Closed Subscriber Groups through My Verizon: http://spr.ly/6603ZCO0S.
