Connecting to Network Extender

I set up my new Verizon LTE network extender.  It's connected to WiFi, and I put out the satellite antenna. I opened up the manager site on my computer (assume that means it's connected to the Internet). It shows 9 of 12 satellites connected (showed 10 connected a short while ago).

When I dial #48 on my phone, the message is that I'm not connected to a network extender, to move closer to the extender, and try again in 3 minutes.  I'm sitting within 3 feet. Have called multiple times in the last hour, and it's not connected.

I have an iPhone 14, with IOS version 17.2.1   Wi-Fi calling is turned "on".

What am I missing? Is the Verizon network extender just a bad idea?

Hello, OrangeGator. Help is here as we can assist with getting your Network Extender set up. Which Network Extender do you have?

It says "Verizon LTE Network Extender" on it.  The only other markings are a red "V".  There is a little panel with the MAc address & serial numbers. But no manufacturer.

By the way, had the same problem a few weeks ago with my first extender.  Called Verizon multiple times. They finally said there must be something wrong with the device.

They sent me a new one, which is the one I set up yesterday. But still having the same problem.

Is there some other way to force my phone to connect to your network extender?

Well, it is connected now.  Maybe the Verizon extender only works after 3-4 hours of the phone being nearby?

OrangeGator, I'm glad to hear things are connected. The Network Extender can take some time to boot up, but I'm happy you've been able to connect your phone.
