I got my phone linked to my Verizon account (Apps, Verizon Tones, and My Verizon Mobile all work), but every time I try to pull up the voicemail it says "Unable to verify subscription status. Please try again later." How do I make it work?
Hi GallowsCalibrator, it sounds like you have your phone setup great! It sounds like you may be trying to access Visual Voicemail (VVM), but you don't have a subscription for VVM. If you want to access standard voicemail, you can open your dial pad and press and hold speed dial 1 or chose the option for Standard Voicemail. I got a replacement phone because my old one died. I had the visual VM indicator and was able to use it to access VM on the old phone. When I got the new phone, I am getting this error. So, why would I have it on the old one and not the new one? It's the same kind of phone, nothing changed on my account, etc. Was a "swap".
