Having home internet issues. Started about 6 months after switching to iPhone 14 Pro from Samsung. EVERYTHING related to home internet is new and has updated firmware. This is from the street to the router, modem and everything in between. Internet provider is done trying to fix. Came across a post online from years back saying their iPhone was crashing WiFi and the fix was to purchase a better router. Found another saying the range extender was the issue.
Is anyone else having issues with either their iPhone and or Verizon extender causing home internet connection issues.
What is happening is the internet will drop completely for 30 seconds up to 30+ minutes. Started happening once a week, then once a day and now to the point we have days we are without internet more than we have it.

No change other than not getting worse anymore. The only device change was leaving Samsung and going to iPhone. Issues started about 6 months after going to iPhone. Apps, software and firmware are all up to date on all devices (iPhones, laptops, TV, modem, router etc.)
Found a post from year back that people had the same issue with iPhone being the issue. The fix was a new and better router. Have that and purchased an Eero 6 pro and had the same issue. Have also changed the WiFi channel for both 5ghz and 2.4ghz.
So at a loss as to what the issue is. Right now leaning the iPhone and or the signal booster from Verizon. Kinda hard to troubleshoot that. As one of the only forms of web surfing is on the phone.
So yes if you have suggestions and want to see if you can help that would be great.

Hello, Adam9721. Thank you for this info but I do want to ensure we are on the same page with the issues you are experiencing. It sounds like you are having issues with your data on your iPhone, correct? Or are you having issues with your Verizon Home Internet? Please clarify so that we can assist.

I am having issues with something crashing my home internet.
I came across similar issues from years back that iPhones were doing it (the fix was to get a better router, have a higher end one now and purchased an Eero pro 6 just to have the same issue) and with all the different devices that all have their own signals I figured would ask about the signal booster. If we had better service at the house I would be first in line to your home internet but need the booster to do anything at home.

That is definitely unusual, to clarify, is this for Fios services or 5G?

Correct me if Iโm wrong but having a booster from Verizon means I donโt have reliable cell phone service and therefore have an ISP that is not Verizon.
The only that has changed in my house in the past 9 months is getting Verizon, Verizon booster and changing from Android to Apple.
Since EVERYTHING to do with home internet has been replaced and is all new and up to date the simple math side of things says the issue is coming from what changed 9 months agoโฆ.
Really just looking for other customers that are having the same/similar issues.
Not really expecting anyone in Verizon or Apple to actually do anything. Unless they have experience with this issue.
Found a few people across the country with the same issue. All with no resolution.

Adam9721 We're sorry to read that you're having issues with your home internet. I would suggest you reach out to your ISP regarding this issue as they might be able to pinpoint what is causing this. ~Peter

if you start from the beginning, youโll see that every single component of my home Internet has been replaced and is brand new. You will also see that I found that other people across the country are having the same issue I am having. They have also replaced every single component of their home.
my ISP spent weeks troubleshooting a house to find that one of 3 iPhones in the house was causing it to crash.
my situation is a little bit different from theirs because both myself and my wife work from home and cannot go without phones to determine which one or multiple devices is the issue.
no need to reply.
