I am trying to email Verizon customer service about some problems I have had with phone customer service and store customer service. I don't want to call and talk to someone who won't really help me or care!
Here is my story, I have been having issues with verizon. I wanted to upgrade my phone with the new edge plan. I called customer service and they said yes you are eligible for an upgrade but you have to go to the verizon store to do the edge program. I was told I would also receive $100 credit for turning in my previous iphone. I went to store #202140 and cannot remember who helped me. They first waited on me and then looked on computer and said well you aren't eligible for the edge program but you are eligible for the install program which would be about $40 a month. I asked why not because I verified yesterday and they said I was. He was like, well customer service doesn't know what they are talking about. I then waited at least 3 separate times while he chatted with friends that were in the store and would go in the back to talk with fellow employees about personal things. Then he said I can trade in my phone for $64. The customer rep next to him said any iphone 4, which is what I have, will receive $100 credit, to the customer he was helping. I said okay and gave him my previous phone. He set everything up for the new phone. He never told me exactly what it would cost a month for the install program, he said they would email it to me. He asked if I wanted to pay anything today and I paid first months "installment", He then, said he couldn't transfer my contacts because my phone was to new. Really he just laid it on the counter and went in the back again to talk personal stuff. I then made a payment on my account, I can't remember exactly how much, because he never gave me a receipt or anything, he kept saying they would email it to me. After I got home, 2 hours later, I got to thinking that he could put whatever price on there he wanted because he was very unfriendly,and would never give me a straight answer. How can I find out what I was actually charged? He basically just told me what he wanted. Worst customer service experience ever! I also should have received a discount on my pricing and I believe any accessories I bought from my employer but he never mentioned anything!
