My husband was sent on orders outside of the country and we were told that we had the international plan. What we didn't realize was how expensive it was. Our bill went up $160 with taxes and fees and I have attempted to reach Verizon multiple times to speak with someone out the issue with no success. I am told it will be a 10 minute hold for a representative only to be left on hold for over an hour. The one time someone did answer it was disconnected before I was even able to speak to them about the issue. The chat feature is saying it is unavailable so there's no way for me to even contact them to discuss anything. Super disappointed that Verizon doesn't seem to support our troops while serving overseas, not to mention charging an outrageous amount for their time. It's no secret that military members are paid way below what they should so these charges are going to be difficult to pay.
