Until today, I had not been able to receive any emails sent to me at my phonenumber@vtext.com. It just didn't go thru. I searched the internet and many people have had this problem and Verizon hadn't been able to resolve it (as with me). It's actually very simple.
Sign in to Verizon account page.
Click on ‘Block Calls & Messages’ under PLAN
Click on ‘Internet Spam Blocking’ tab
Uncheck boxes – ‘block all text messages sent from the web’ and ‘block all text messages sent from email’
This was the message I was getting when I attempted to send myself a text from the Verizon website: Delivery to this destination failed due to invalid address.
Hope this helps someone else. I found so many ppl with this problem and not one resolution.
