Purchased a new iPhone, was told my account would only increase $5. With that I was also given an Apple Watch for FREE! Zero discussion about new charges- a family member has an Apple Watch and no charges have ever been seen.
we gave the watch away and now I see charges on my account and will for several months. Called Verizon corporate and was told I’d hear in 3-5 business days. That was 1/4/2024. Today I called again and was rudely told we would need to return the watch. The person given the watch does not have Verizon service. I’m calling the store but this is over and over again! I dread doing an upgrade because this is always what happens. Sleezy sales teams that lie about fees. There is a huge class action suite for lies and fraudulent issues. I’m going to the top of Verizon. I’ve had it

It's certainly important to get accurate details when making a purchase decision, Jomoss41. I know I would share your concern if my bill was higher than expected after a purchase as well. I did want to say that while the equipment for the watch may have no cost, we don't sell equipment without service, so there would at the very minimum be a line of service cost associated with a device purchase. When you look at your bill, what do the charges for the new iPhone look like? What about for the Apple Watch line of service?
