What is the difference? They both cost $60. Mobile protection appears to include in the cost 4-20 devices where device protection appears to include 3 with a fee for each additional device covered. When I called customer service they told me mobile protect is like $29 per line on the unlimited which would be double the price showing on the app for 4 lines.

Larkenprplhaze, happy to help clarify the differences between those two protection plans. Verizon Mobile Protect is our equipment protection for your smartphones and other cellularly connected devices, with VZ. It’s what you use when your phone is lost/stolen, has a cracked screen needing repair, or you want the security of an extended warranty. You can learn all the details about what VZ Mobile Protect covers here: https://www.verizon.com/solutions-and-services/add-ons/protection-and-security/verizon-mobile-protec...
VZ Protect Multi-Device is charged at the account level and gives you more options. There’s a nice chart showing the difference between the per-line coverage vs the multi-device plan: https://scache.vzw.com/content/dam/support/pdf/verizon-protect-multi-device-comparison.pdf
