My Verizon Data Widget for iPhone 4s

Hello, I am trying to set up the My Verizon Data widget on an iPhone 4s with iOS 8.1.3. When I touch it, it takes me to the My Verizon app, but I don't see anywhere to activate or link it to the widget. Am I missing something buried in all the menus? Also, will the widget work with the 4s since the message on the widget says "Sorry, the Data Meter is not available for your device."? Thanks!!!

I wondered the same thing so I didn't respond, but I looked it up and apparently widgets do work on the latest iOS updates.

If your receiving a message saying that it won't work with your device then its not going to work.

After a coworker showed me how it works on their iPhone 6, I'm convinced that it faster to just open the MyVerizon app instead of using the widget.
