Nothing is updating and I can received calls. I Message , apps, email etc. can't connect to the server. Is there an ongoing issue with Verizon's Server?

If you are still having this problem when was the last time you restarted your phone? I could not get any service one time and all I did was restart the phone. Of course this may not be the answer to your problem like NicoleB asked what is your zip cause they could be having a problem on Verizon end.
