Straight to voicemail, no ring

Sad to see many other similar frustrations and posts— and problem still happening.
Somehow VZ has arrangement with telemarketers for their calls to ring and disturb me all day long. However, I find that work calls and personal calls are going straight to voicemail, without even ringing.

it is disappointing enough to consider alternate carriers. For as long as this has been going on.
